You might wonder why I’m talking about an effort to bring our country back to the rule of law, based on the Constitution.  “What does that have to do with getting and keeping a job?” you might ask.

Well, I’m glad you asked.  The answer is everything!  Our country is the greatest engine of properity and personal wealth in the history of man.  The poorest family in the poorest part of this nation lives better than medieval kings.

The Constitution is the framework that preserved the liberty that made all that possible.  To better understand this idea, read

  1. The annual report published by Forbes Magazine “The Best Countries for Business” – the net is businesses do best in free countries.  When businesses do well they hire more people.
  2. The “Index of Economic Freedom” from the Heritage Foundation and the Wall Street Journal
  3. “Economic Freedom of the World 2009 Annual Report”
